Introduction

I can talk OK but type really slow,  But wish to share pieces of my mutts and their accomplices stories.  Boogee was named by  YFE   (Jeanie)  He is an all black GSD. We had him in the back laundry on a nice Rug and a throw comforter tucked under 4 table legs.  Works well for puppies. He , his sister, and momma,,  ( Miss Impeeshee ) Seemed content.  But Impeeshee must have   got  nervous with the other Dogs on the other side of the door  (To the back porch)  I had a kiddee gate between the kitchen and laundry.  Piecing things together after the fact Impee decided to relocate her lair Presumably to my bedroom and jumped the gate with boogee and he was injured..   When he was 4 days old My brother Nick was visiting and we found some blood, then Boogee on the laundry floor with a large wound on his left rib side . Our vet was called . We were comfortable that boogee would be OK.  When he first  started  to walk we noticed him dragging his back legs.  As he grew we were concerned  that he had a serious problem.. A trip to our vet revealed a mild left luxating patella (diagnosed 1)  But his right was severe   and that a   later corrective surgery would make him all better.  His right elbow would lock up, his leg would drag and make us feel real bad……go figger ….       On May 09  boogee had  an x-ray which  revealed  His hip was deformed as well as his rt leg  It became evident  his hip had been injured as well as his side. he had been growing and the real issue was lurking in his hip joint  ..Our vets (3 of them)   concurred that an amputation was the logical solution and after all that had transpired  he became a tripaw on May 25 of 2011.  His puppy name was Thorr  but as his adventure of life progressed YFE became very attached and started calling him boogey.   His dads name is ZeeGee mom is Miss Impeeshee ,Grandpaw Zygfreed Grandma Magee Littermate sister now lives in Lincoln named rubee….that will bee all for now.   Time to wake the junkyard dogs and go play…..
